I have flour, sugar, and eggs in a cake mix, but when im done making the cake, the properties of these 3 ingrediants are gone why?
The properties of these 3 ingrediants are gone because once you mix the 3 ingrediants together and bake them within other ingrediants, you can not take those ingrediants out. This means that once the cake is ready and done, you can not unbake the cake, so the ingrediants are mixed in and you can not change the reaction.

1-11-12 The 3 subatomic particles are protons, neutrons, and electrons. List, in ascending order, the subatomic particles sizes and their charges
The 3 subatomic particles are protons, neutrons, and electrons. List, in ascending order, the subatomic particle sizes and their charges.
Protons have a positively charged subatomic particle, and Protons have a positive charge. Neutrons have a electrically neutral subatomic particle, and Neutrons have a negative charge. Electrons have a stable subatomic particle, and Electrons have a negative electric charge.

1-10-12 what does the period (row) on the periodic table tell you about elements in that row?
What does the period (row) on the periodic table tell you about elements in that row?
The period row on the periodic table tells you that the elements share the same 'family' and that it shares certain similarities. (This would be the vertical row up top.)

1-9-12 What is matter?
What is matter?
Matter is an object that takes up space and that has a mass. An example of matter is chocolate cake. A chocolate cake is made up of ingrediants. The ingrediants take up space, and the ingrediants also have a mass.

1-5-12 in an atom, what does each of your five pieces do?
In an atom, what does each of your five pieces do?
There are five pieces to an atom and they are: The electron cloud, the nucleus, protons, neutrons, and the electrons. The electron cloud is on the outside of the atom, and gives it a negative charge. The nucleus is in the middle of the atom, and the nucleus has 2 out of the 3 subatomic particles. The protons give off a positive charge, while the neutrons give off a negative charge. They interact with eachother, but the electrons have a small mass. Formula: e-= p= atomic #.

1-4-12 breakdown of an atom
What is the breakdown of an atom?
The Nucleus is part of the breakdown of an atom because its in the center of the atom. The Electron Cloud is part of the breakdown of an atom because the Electron Cloud is on the outside of the atom, and it gives it a negative charge. Protons are part of the breakdown of an atom because it gives the atom a positive charge. The Protons= the electrons to give a balanced charge. Neutrons are part of the breakdown of an atom because it gives the atom no charge. The neutrons of no charge, so they do not have to equal the number of protons and electrons. The Electron is part of the breakdown of an atom because it gives the atom a negative charge.
